Dr. Donald A. Balun -Psychiatrist
Dr. Donald A. Balun, Jr. is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist with Child and Adolescent training. Originally from Fresno, California, he received his B.S. Degree in Business Administration from California State University Fresno. After graduating from CSUF, he worked in bank management but soon realized that banking was not his passion. He and his family moved to the East Coast to realize his life-long dream of attending medical school. Dr.
Anthony Whall -PA
Anthony Whall PA-C received his Master's in Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University and has provided psychiatric care in hospitals, in outpatient private practice, and for the Veteran's Administration. Mr. Whall treats a wide variety of psychiatric conditions, with special interest in substance abuse, depression, and bipolar disorders. Mr. Whall is a member of the Neuroscience Educational Institute, The American Society of Addiction Medicine, and The Psychopharmacology Institute, with a dedication to staying abreast of the latest research and developments in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. Having recently relocated to the Central Coast with his family from West Palm Beach, Florida, Mr. Whall is thrilled to be able to pursue his passion for all things outdoors including motorcycling, mountain biking, hiking, and camping.
Mark Cross- Physician Assistant
Mark has been in the middle of the field for over three decades. He spent 17 years as a licensed clinical social worker. Since becoming a physician assistant he split his time between primary care and psychiatry. Mark enjoys daily exercise, biking and hiking. He loves walking local beaches with a friend and pondering the meaning of life.

Amy Carabay- Office Manager
Amy was born and raised in the Central Valley. She relocated to the Central Coast in 2017 with her family. She has over 5+ years of Office Management experience working in the medical industry. Amy enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
Carrie Kieta- Biller/Office Administrator
Carrie was born and raised in California. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management and certification in Medical billing. She enjoys spending time with her two boys and taking care of her horses.
Dr. Grant Meredith -Psychiatrist
Dr. Grant Meredith grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas surrounded by the Ozark mountains. Before discovering his passion for the mind and human behavior; he worked in building automation, traveled to Sonoma County to work at an auto racing school, and became a licensed massage therapist. After returning to Fayetteville, he earned his B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Arkansas, followed by receiving his Medical Degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. He then attended Psychiatry residency in Corvallis, Oregon at Good Samaritan Hospital. At the end of his residency he worked as a Staff Inpatient Psychiatrist for Ventura County, then Humboldt County, California. He continues to stay on the pulse of ongoing research and evidence based treatments in the field of Psychiatry.
The psychiatric care Dr. Meredith provides is influenced by a lifetime spent in the great outdoors. "I believe strongly that discovering or expanding our physical, spiritual, and emotional connection to the natural world is core to our personal journey to happiness." Dr. Meredith is an avid surfer, mountain biker, and wilderness explorer.
Abera Tesfaye, PMHNP
Abera a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He graduated in master’s degree from University of Maryville. He earned a BSN from Cal State Dominguez Hills. Graduated from Santa Barbara City College in Nursing. Worked in a local psychiatric hospital for more than 9 years as a psychiatric nurse. Loves to spend time with family, to explore outdoors and jogging.
Viri Carrasco -Support Staff
Viri has been working as an office assistant for a couple of years now. She loves what she does and enjoys helping her patients with forms and paperwork. On her spare time she loves to play with her dog Simba and take him out for walks.
Tamara Ganjai- Scheduling/New Patient Coordinator
Tamara has 15 years of clerical experience in the medical industry. She truly enjoys interacting with patients and their loved ones. She takes pride in being part of a team that strives to make a difference in people's lives. In her spare time she enjoys traveling up and down the beautiful Central Coast, going to the beach and taking long walks at sunset with her family.

Dora Stajic has worked in the medical field for one year. She enjoys helping patients. On her spare time, she loves spending quality time with her loved ones.

Julie has worked in the medical field for over 40 years and enjoys helping patients. When not spending time with her husband and son, she enjoys trail riding and working with her horse. She is the south county director for HEET, The Horse Emergency Evacuation Team of San Luis Obispo and is a first responder for assisting large animals out of emergencies.
