Meet Korie Bayer
After 17 years as a nurse in Oncology and Emergency Medicine, Korie returned to the Stanford University College of Medicine Primary Care Associate Program where she graduated as a Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant in 1999. She developed an interest in psychiatry, spending 10 years as a nurse practitioner for the Department of State Hospitals in Atascadero. She enjoys working collaboratively with patients in the community setting offered by Central Coast Behavioral Health, and appreciates the challenges and victories in growing to our unique potential.
Korie enjoys spending time with her family, attending music events, hiking and travel. She has an active practice in mindfulness meditation and enjoys daily connection with nature through beach or trail walks with her Morkie, Zeus.
